I dunno, man; I hear they did a good psionics module, and they have another one in the works. *whistles aimlessly* :p

I bought "Of Sound Mind" for the counters, not the module. I mean, who wrote that?! What was s/he thinking? A person with one eye and a hook for a hand could have written just as well as that module's author... :D

PS: I really liked Of Sound Mind and if another one is in the works I suspect it'll end up on my shelf.

I had to vote for a bunch, just becuause I don't really buy THAT many RPG books. It's too bad...there are a lot of people putting out really good books (I had to vote no to Green Ronin...and I think they've done some great stuff!), but I just don't have the discretionary income to get a lot of RPG stuff unless it's directly related to the game I'm playing in right now.

I do want to add my post to the list of "I've never bought anything from avalanche because of the covers". It's really a shame, their historical books seem well done, well-researched, and a lot of fun...but the covers are just creepy.

If I wind up heading in a psionics-heavy direction with my next campaign, I might wind up snagging OSM -- probably at the same time as Mindscapes and ITCK. ;)

Hrmm... Subtract one from Fiery Dragon. I forgot about Of Sound Mind. (How could I do that?)

As for the publishers I haven't purchased from, it's mostly lack of interest, although there are a few more books that I'd probably own if it weren't for cover/interior art that I consider to be so distasteful as it make the book undesirable despite its (possibly very good) contents.

PS: WizarDru- I think you've confused FFG and FFE. FFE (Fast Forward Entertainment) did the x of Power series, and FFG (Fantasy Flight Games) did the Legends and Lairs series, which included Traps & Treachery.

I have tries about half of these. Many are not gotten due to availiable funds and I prefer to look through unknown company material before buying it.

I have not even heard of most of these, plus as there is no gaming store close to me that I know of the options are kinda limited.

I could not help but notice you live in Lewisville, Tx. There's a really good store in Denton called Talon Comics http://www.taloncomics.com/ . Also, since you live in the Metroplex you should be able to find books by a lot of these companies at a Barnes and Noble, Hastings, Books a Million etc. near you.

Argh, I did indeed. One I consider poor, and the other I enjoy a great deal. Unfortunately, they are separated by only one letter, and my memory is...um, not quite as good as I'd like. I should also point out that I once considered picking up the Quintessential Rogue for my wife...and then I saw all the poorly drawn half-naked elf-chick pictures...and I quietly put it back down.

As for Of Sound Mind...it doesn't really require the use of Psionics, and has details on how to make some minor changes to convert it. It really is one of the best written modules you can buy, and you owe it to yourself to pick it up. It's just great.
