D&D 5E Companion thread to 5E Survivor: Species

For those who seek to trim the list a bit, I'd like to call your attention to the various animal-headed humans on the list. We've got bird-men, cat-men, rabbit-men, insect-men, fish-men, seriously it's like the Island of Dr. Moreau in there. Roll up your sleeves and help me do what needs to be done.
don't worry i've already picked my animal person that i intend to send to the grave.

Just one? There are so many to choose from, I don't know if I can limit myself to just one.

I was going to just work down the wounded already, but I cannot help myself and retribution is now the order of the day.

After that, it will be anything animal based, or that came from a MtG setting.

Kuppo!

As for the menagerie of animal-men, I'm not sure which one I'll start with; probably the one with the lowest score at the time (turtle-man is currently at 6, monkey-man is currently at 8).

I kinda like the goat-man, though, since he has the most real-world mythology and lore to flesh him out...so I'll spare him. He's worthy.

Actually, at the tail end of 4e, before Essential, WOTC experiemented with publishing paperback 32 pages source books dedicated to races. They published one for Tiefling and one for Dragonborn. Each one had pages of lore and backstory, help with your character’s personality and background, dedicated Paragon Paths, an Epic Destiny, as well as feats. I have the Tiefling one, it's pretty nifty.

I forgot about these two. ;) Wasn't there a PDF for the 4e Genasi as well?

I wish I had not been viciously and personally ATTACKED and my character called into question by having the rightful heir to the Tiefling name downvoted.

Now, its a righteous war, that will leave 2 noble <character options> decimated while weaker options get to live. :(
