D&D 5E Companion thread to 5E Survivor: Species

Participants: "...and I hate that one, and that one, and that one, and that one..."

Me: "Hey look, the Kender are untouched!"

Participants: "Oh yeah! I forgot that I'm supposed to hate the Kender!" (immediately dogpiles on the Kender, obliterates it) "Anyway, where were we? Oh right, species that I hate. I hate that one, and that one, and that one..."

That is, in fact, how I'm approaching this one.

Also, I'm occasionally upvoting an oddball to bring it to an odd number so it takes more effort to eliminate ones I don't think are ultimately going to win.

I like to watch the world burn.

I find it peculiar that everyone seems to be going for the weird and wonderfully different before hunting down the myriads of subraces first.
hey, I have been trying to knock out human.

Does anyone know why sea elves exist? beyond the fact if you dumb a bunch of elves in an environment they adapt to it and gain a retroactive history in that slab of land ten thousand years long

well the warforged was dismantled into scrap overnight, for anyone who voted against it might i ask why it was your choice of downvote?

personally i like it's concept, it's a magic golem-person, and with it's armour AC +1 and proficiency in a skill and a tool it's also very versatile.
I love them, but I bet for most peoples it boils down to "It's too Eberron specific" or "robots don't belong in d&d".
