Complete Champion, and Dungeonscape

Has any of that submission seen the light of day?

I've heard that the concept of the Aerenal (then still undead, not deathless) in Eberron was from his submission, but I don't know where I heard and how true that is.

He also did at least some stuff for the MM3, I think.

Mouse,

If you can submit book ideas for WotC, see if they can make one of the "environment" books focused on Jungles and Forests!

Seconded. Can't believe we don't have this one already!

Cheers

Hey now, just because I work on Dragon does not mean I do not know a thing or two about Dungeons. :)

At any rate, I cannot say much about the book at this time, other than I am extremely proud of it, Rich was fun to work with, and I really hope you will all enjoy it.

If the insides are half as good as the cover, you've got two sales from a me and a friend. The Wizards site info makes it sound pretty appealing.

Razz,

Why? Did you think Cityscape was bad? (Cause I thought it was decent. Certainly way more decent than the city stuff, for say, Races of Destiny aka Races of suckage.)

Incidentally, how many times can Wizards retread the same territory?

Well, when you cut your page count from 192 to 160 and you go from 30+ PrCs to 8 PrCs with a ton more information based at easing the use of these new PrCs into your campaign, and you add on descriptions for magic items, and descriptions for spells, and then repeat those spell descriptions in the spell text itself, why, the sky's the limit! Be on the look out for the Complete Ninja Scoundrel Drow Dinosarur Riding Pirate in early '08! ;)

The repeating of information (redundantly) in stat blocks is the reason that I would love for the print-version of npc stats to only reference certain abilities (with a book/page number), and leave the full blown NPC stats with total descriptions for web-enhancments where they could go crazy with detailed descriptions.

Saves on book space (allowing more actual content), and puts the stats in a place where they can used more easily with copy/paste/print functions.

...why can't I be in charge of WotC for a while???

Because then you'd be alienating the large portion of the market that doesn't have internet access or (more likely) doesn't use it for this sort of thing. The statblocks should be fully functional even for those without accessing the internet.
