Hopefully they ditch the paladin's code. Its poorly worded, poorly thought out, leads to inter-party conflict, DM/player fights, and perpetuates "lawful stupid". Every aspect of it sucks, and for what? To tack a bunch of hinderances on a class thats near the bottom of the power curve?

I hate alignment in general, but the code inspires nothing but seething hatred.

You might want to take a look at FireLance's Paladin Project.

You know, would the paladin change much if the code was dropped and there simply was the Lawful Good alignment restriction? (Leaving aside the arguments in favor of paladins of all alignments for a moment.)

They'd still behave in essentially the same way, I'd argue, but with less of a spotlight on perfection, which would likely make them a little less stressful to play/have around.

I was thinking, for a second, he meant Ahn'Qiraj.

Boy, I've been playing WoW a bit too long now.

So WotC is finally going to support the 20 and 40 man Raid players? ;)

"Complete Champion" is probably the "Complete, part deux" book that most interests me. Unfortunately, that's because Complete Divine has almost no material that I actually want to use IMC. So, I'm looking forward to "Champion" as a replacement, not companion, to "Divine".
If Complete Psionic is ny indicator, the first set of Complete books was for PrCs and feats to make your character more (type)y. The second set of Complete books, by comparison, is to make a (type) character in general.

I just don't like that they kept the same title scheme.

I'm pretty sure we won't see this. Perhaps variant codes, but don't count on it. That would have to wait for 4th Edition, I suspect.

I like that, apparently, at some point this book was Complete Divine 2. *Snicker*
