COMPLETE Online Epic Campaign setting with maps ?

The Thread Title says it all...

Is anyone aware of a COMPLETE online epic campaign setting with maps ?

We are not searching for something too complicated, we want to absorb it quickly for our next game session (in 3 days).

I ran two and a half year long 3rd edition campaign that went from 1st level to 24th. Having DM'd through the high levels in 3rd edition, I have found that it isn't wise to use pregenerated material for it.

A high level campaign requires that you know the abilities of the PC's VERY well, and everything is pretty much customized around them. Two different epic level groups will have utterly different capabilities and what might be laughibly easy for one group, might kill the other. As players gain levels they tend to get more and more specialized... your game has to take this into account.

Anyway, I don't recommend you use pre-gen material other than to spark ideas and to help with setting. In the end it requires so much customizing that you will end up with product that's quite different from the original.

P.S.: I just realized I misread the header and that you're looking for a setting, not a campaign/game. Anyway, it's good advice, so I'll leave it, lol.

Yeah... that was weird... I was reading your reply with my jaw slacking more and more after each phrase.

Of course I agree with you. That said, a campaign setting doesn't have an immediate interaction with a given group of PC's, and can be easilly adjusted to any group.

Epic or not.

The online epic campaigns that have maps are the traditional ones. For instance, Forgotten Realms is an online epic game (Elminister is over 30th level, etc.). Middle Earth (Gandalf, Sauron, the Balrog, etc. are epic level). Greyhawk has Mordenkainen and other epic level characters. Dragon Lance has Raistlin, etc.
