Dungeonscape has new things you can built into your weapons & armor. One of those things is a wand holder. Holding the weapon also means you've got the wand ready.

It's a good book.

I have been considering Dungeonscape for a while...this tips it a bit more toward the buy catagory. Though I am not sold yet.

Some more goodies from Dungeonscape:

- Armor and Shield etched with a holy symbol, so they become legal divines foci for casting spells;
- Oil container that can be built on armor, shield and weapons, allowing instant application of magic oils (like, say, magic vestment or bless weapon) on those objects.

My mage has been running around with a Heavy Crossbow with a wand of Lesser orb of Acid under slung and wands of True Strike and Blessed Aim on the sides for a while now.

Something for every occasion, toggle a wand, get a bonus.

It's funky and I've yet to notice any unbalancing effects...
SO how many wands will be destroyed with one Sunder on that set up?

I allow the use of Wand Bolts as a sort of "house rule item" in my campaigns. It's reusable crossbow amunition who's spell effect takes place if the bolt hits. For example, a fireball bolt at caster level 5 would do 1d10+5d6. They cost 50% more to make than normal wands (to account for surviving the impact force). It's been a fun addition, and hasn't caused any problems thus far.
