Complete Scoundrel

what are your expectations for this book? how tight a lid is WotC keeping on it? there's been some speculation on the WotC boards that it might feature a revised Lasher PrC. I may be willing to shell out the cash for that alone, but i wonder what other goodies it has in store...

Wristwatch-crossbows.
The galaxys fastest airship.
A party of 13 prisoners volunteered for a suicide mission behind enemy lines while posing as pastry chefs.

...
What?

So what is / will be the second Complete Warrior, in that case?

Or will it come last, following Champion (as the 2nd Divine). . .? I hope so, I suppose, for the sake of completeness or something.

Will someone please kill off this madness yet already? WotC has already published far more hardbound books of dubious content than their much maligned predecessor.

I'm definitely interested in this one. CAdv was my favorite by far, and I liked the expansion they did with Complete Mage, so hopefully it's a slam dunk.

I'd also like to see some more done with the classes from the Tome of Magic. I'm pretty partial to the shadowcaster.

Complete Mage is one of the best books of the Complete series. Complete Mage has a great section on arcane caster roles, what classes can excel at what, and what spells are must have and avoid at all cost for each of the roles. It is well written, concise, and could be handed to a relatively new player as a guide to developing their arcane character.

If Complete Scoundrel is 3/4 as good it will be a decent book.

One thing I hope (but know won't happen) is that on the five level PrC's we don't see all the expanded content. On a full ten level PrC, it makes a little sense as there is the potential of staying in that career for half your tenure (assuming 20 levels) of the game but a 5 level prC is a diversion and shouldn't be treated to as much detail as other PrCs.
