Complete Warrior: Paladin feats

I like divine feats. They are a neat idea and they made divine might alot more balanced than it use to be.
Even so they are a bit on the powerful end of feats. My mind fills with ways to power game just thinking of what I could do with those feats.

They slaughtered Divine Might into nothingness in the complete warrior.

They've restricted it to melee weapons now, haven't they? So there's no chance of doing a Divine Might/Master Thrower combo?

Oh I couldn't agree more what use to be a dump stat, not that it ever was for me, turns into one of the most important stats. :)

All in all the new Divine Might is probably a good idea, or maybe have the duration being half your charisma bonus.

Nope there is no melee weapon only restriction... The only change is to the duration. Oh and its a free action now instead of a standard action.

Hmm. In that case, since I don't have CW... is there any synergy between the Master Thrower's "throw lots of stuff" abilities and Divine Might?

Presumably not as much as there was with 3E Shuriken, but hey.

Ahh can I have that in non-smurf? :D I would assume so it works with a bastard sword and large amounts of strength. It works with a sword whip and weapon finesse so I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't "stack".

Well, because Divine Might adds to every attack, it becomes more effective the more attacks you can make.

Divine Might makes more of a difference to a two-weapon fighter than a greatsworder, for example, because he potentially gets to add his Divine Might bonus seven or eight times, instead of four or five times.

My understanding is that the Master Thrower can throw a ridiculous number of weapons in a single round - though without the book, I can't quote figures. By making a character designed to add Divine Might damage to all of those attacks, is it possible to come up with something really really nasty, or is it not really any more effective than just making a Master Thrower with a high strength score, for example?

Oh... an X level fighter with a single level of cleric becomes much more interesting with divine feats. Give your fighter a decent Charisma, and weapon & board style, extra turning a few times (the fighter is the only class that has feats galore), and Divine Might and Divine Shield.

Yum. He can actually have both Divine Might and Divine Shield by 3rd character level (Divine Might at 3rd because of the power attack prereq). Take a deity with Luck domain for that reroll once per day power. Oh, and Divine Vigor later (it's based on your character level, so max effect for the fighter). Somebody stop me.

Broken ?

Naaah... ;)
