This is a heck of a product. Very true to REH (if that's a good thing ;)

The combat system is OGL, but different. It has two types of "AC's" that are your 'chance to be hit.' One type is a dodge-type the other is a parry-type. Armor only reduces damage. I think a lot of gamers have been looking for a system like this for a long time.

Personally, I hope it stays. I'm sure I have missed some really good discussion on similar topics ( AU, Midnight etc... ) due to my infrequent visiting of the OGL forum.
 


From what I've heard this is pretty much the Game I've been waiting for. Gritty, grim D&D, with Magic as a difficult, unpredictable and mysterious force...rather than the Standard D&D "Magic as Technology" trope.

Agreed, I can't wait to get my hands on this tomorrow at my FLGS. :D
