Concealment and Reach

If a large creature with reach is in a Fog Cloud (100% concealment 10ft away, 50% concealment 5ft away), do they still get attacks of opportunity against opponents that move from the 10ft square to the 5ft square?

No. It's only a 5-foot step.

Sorry, I meant someone moving a normal move through the fog, not a 5-foot step. Does the 100% concealment in the 10ft square prevent the monster with reach from making an AOO when they take that last step into the 5ft square.

Ah-ha. I see. Well...that's an entirely different question. ;) Right now I'm totally stuck in a thread regarding magic item creation and DM approval. Sorry.

No, concealment does not prevent AoO's. Half or more cover does, but not concealment.
You still have the 50% miss chance, of course.

WRT Concealment...

If the monster is not aware the enemy is there, he can't attack them. So, with 100% concealment you get a 50% miss chance. If the monster knows a PC is moving through one of it's threatened squares, it could take a swing at it. Maybe an opposed move silently/listen roll? Even if the baddie hears the PC, it is still 50/50 on whether or not it will hit.
