Troll (Internet) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Doesn't matter what Wikipedia says. Calling someone a troll is a form of harassment.

I will repeat, calling someone a troll is not a form of disagreement. Even implying that someone is trolling is not a form of disagreement.

If someone is breaking the CoC then report them, if you don't agree with them then post why, if you feel like you need to name call then skip the thread.

PS: If you actually read my opening thread then you wouldn't even need to ask my reasons why.

I'm concerned that they won't actually listen to the people during the playtest.
I have no reason to believe this (therefore I don't).

I'm not talking about actually listen to each and every opinion but if there is a genuine idea that someone puts out there, that actually corrects something, then I hope it's used.
I imagine there's going to be vociferous disagreement over what constitutes a "genuine idea" and what "fixes" or "breaks" the thing in question. C'est la guerre.

I also hope that we aren't being used just to correct spell mistakes and sentences that may be worded wrong.
I think it's safe to say the playtests will be more than just crowdsourced proofreading/copy editing.

Anyone have any concerns?
Not really. I'm sure the playtests will result in some rules/content I don't like... but 5e isn't being made expressly for me and my tastes.

Let me type slowly, you stated your concern is "WOTC might not listen".

I am asking why you think that? Maybe just unreasonable irrational fears?

OK, I'll just answer for the OP.

I, too, am concerned in this area. If this were to be the case it would look very bad for 5e.

I sincerely hope that it is NOT the case, and that WotC is determined to actually make this a GOOD playtest.

There. All friends again?
