Concetration check for lich ?

Good question. I thought I read somewhere to use the relevant spellcasting attribute instead of Con (or Charisma if in doubt) when you need to use a Con score for Undead, but I don't know if I dreamt that or not :)

Since they don't have a constitution score, do they use charisma instead or just plain skill rank ?

I usually use Charisma to sub for Con unless strength is more appropriate. (I think I remember reading that somewhere but I can't remember where. ) My reasoning is that an undead is basically held together by its force of personality (its CHA) . It doesn't die because it won't allow its sense of self to fade and move on. Using that reasoning, CHA is the closest thing to CON that undead have.

On a more house rule note, I found it silly that liches get the vampiric bonuses to skills (namely, +8 racial bonus to Hide, Listen, Move Silently, Search, Sense Motive, and Spot checks just like their cousins, the nosferatu)... IMC, these racial bonuses are replaced with +4 racial bonus to Concentration, Knowledge (arcana), and Spellcraft checks. This does not give them huge boosts, but emphasize their magic-using nature rather their roguish one. Any of you have made similar changes to the lich template?
