D&D 5E Consequences [spoilers SKT and ToD]

Well, I've running ToD for almost a year, at the end of HotDQ we popped SKT. Everything is going fine, but, at the end one player did something awesome.
Long story short: dwarf cleric of haela. Haela is a dwarf goodness who basically kills monsters, specially giants and Hekaton rules with "a legendary dwarf artifact created by a good and given to the dwarves".
All the way through SKT he was reluctant to be happy (he collaborated with everything but his character wasn't happy).
When they got the staff to control the wyrmskull throne the dwarf challenged Hekaton for the throne. Things went out of control. (At this point the giant king had darkness in his heart and Sarissa was in prison, another weird story). Both the dwarf and the king where dead.
Now Sarissa will be queen, and for her, small people betrayed giants and her mother was wrong about them. I want giants to still spread chaos through RoT.
What consequences do you think this can have?
I want ideas to make RoT more fun! With chaotic giants (?). It won't be pure madness, I think the factions will put a lot of soldiers dealing with giants, so convincing them to help will be harder.
