Writers take note!

April 12 - May 31: Submit your own spirit (AKA anima, vestige, demon) for inclusion in our upcoming soft-cover supplement, Villains of Pact Magic.

The top 20 submissions, as voted by gamers such as you, will be included in the supplement. If your submission(s) wins, you will be given name credit and a copy of the book or equivalent monetary compensation. The top 5 submissions will also be illustrated.

Submissions are taken April 12 through May 23, 2008.
A public vote will be held from May 24 through May 31st.
The winners will be announced June 1.

Technically not a paid job, but the contest does offer reward and credit in the event that your submission is among the winners.

Ah! I thought this was an art contest and I already had these wonderful images of evil creatures floating through my head. It's much simpler as a writing contest.

You should throw up a link directly to the book people need to have in order to enter the contest. Unfortunately I don't have the book and even at only $12.99 for a 336 page pdf, I'm not going to chase it.

No, I don't work for their company. I happen to think the price for the PDF is awesome - perhaps even too low. And FYI, it's a d20 system book so everyone will be familiar with the system so it would be easy to get into.

Happily, the book isn't totally necessary. You all can find free downloads here:

The downloads include Aza'zati, the Green Wyrmling; Green Glomairah, the World Tree; and Rasputin, the Bleeding Magician. These are probably enough for a smart cookie to write his or her own entry.
