Hurrrmph, I guess flavor text can be similar to lots of golems: it's a mindless construct tasked by wizards with distasteful duties, like guarding things. Description: I'm imagining these as opaque glass a few inches thick and a lot of shards sticking out. Does that suggest some good text?

Perhaps glass golems are favored by especially spiteful wizards, as their abilities destroy equipment and they're deadly even when slain?

I like it! Based on that, I immediately pictured a wizard's laboratory ransacked by interlopers. In his thrist for vengeance, he gathers up all his broken beakers and vials, melts them down, then uses the glass of his shattered equipment to work his vengeance on the possessions of the wrongdoers.

This giant, unthinking cell clings to the top of caverns. When it senses the heat of a nearby livign body, it releases a powerful sleep gas. One round later, it drops on its prey and begins to digest it.

From Beneath Two Suns (#742).
