Hm.. just limited wish and geas is pretty dull. Hardening is in the SRD, which is both nice and appropriate. Spell turning is possible, but that's yet another high level spell. Shatter, since it destroys items, could be a good low-level spell to throw in there.

CL 11th; Craft Construct, animate objects, hardening, shatter, spell turning, caster must be at least 11th level; Price 40,000 gp; Cost 21,500 gp + 1,540 XP.

That actually was the listed combat text for the... lead golem (I believe) in the 3.0 version of S&S's Creature Collection.
