I think so. I like the fact that it has a "breath weapon"...makes for a unique ooze experience.

The giant cell bit reminds me of a phasm, but I agree that this seems like an ooze.

Should we treat the "breath weapon" as some sort of fog-cloud-like Su?

Seems to have standard ooze acid, too.

Since it's a 10 HD ooze, use the also 10 HD black pudding's ability scores, modified slightly?

Abilities: Str 17, Dex 1, Con 22, Int —, Wis 1, Cha 1

Note that its Int was "low". Do we want to retain this sentience?

In that case, Int "Low" translates to 5-7.
