Converting Planescape monsters

I prefer the Su gem sense, since it's dealing with magic items.

As for changing the effects of the gem storm, why should so many of the effects be teleportation related any more?

That agrees with my thinking.

Dex 11 and +10 NA?

Maybe even a Dex penalty and even higher natural armour.

Dex 7 and +12 NA?

Of those I prefer the Dex penalty one.

That works for me.

Me too. Cleon, you badly want to work up a super-scent ability, don't ya? ;)

Yeah, we can be flexible.

So what non-teleportation effects would you like, light-based ones such as Dazzled/Blinded? Displaced like a Displacer Beast?

Dazzled/blinded appeals. The other is more of a benefit to the victim, so I'd rather not have that option.

The original effects were
d6 Roll Effect
1-2 Target confused for 1d4 rounds by a barrage of questions
3-4 Target blinded for 2d4 rounds by images of another world
5 Spell energy causes target to blink for 2d4 rounds
6 Target transported to Prime Material Plane by a remnant of a summoning spell

I think 1-2 could still work, possibly with flavor changed. 3-4 can still be blinded/dazzled with just a flavor change. 5 would work. 6 should be changed, though: anyone got a favorite ioun stone effect we can modify?

So the victim suffers a miss chance on every attack? But I still wonder if this isn't too similar to blinding. Could swap that out, perhaps.
