A griffon has better Con than both a lion and a giant eagle, so I'd rather stick wth the higher Con precedent of "blending".

Since they're raptor-dog hybrids aren't they likely to be gaze hounds rather than scent hounds? i.e. they chase after whatever game they see and bring them down for their owner to kill when they catch up. (Hmm... better give them Trip or Improved Trip then!)

I'd rather give them Run and Fleet Of Foot as bonus feats, plus Improved Trip.

Yes, I could never figure out why you needed an Int of 13+ for the prerequisite feat to trip someone up.

Both those sound. Flying creatures are usually at a higher CR at this level of the game, but Hgaun do such weak damage they don't deserve CR2.

Packs of 2-16, so their max number's the same as the SRD Wolf?

Two and a half feet at the shoulder, with a weight of 100 pounds of so?

That's the size of a very big dog (~175 lbs), but I dropped the weight since they're semi-avian.

It needs a "Training a Hgaun" section.
