• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

Coolest fighters in movies, and their non combat powers? 101 of em if we can.

14) Li Mu Bai from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - tremendous leaping ability and balance.

15) James Bond - any movie - able to woo just about any woman he meets, and is strikingly successful at just about everything he tries.

Clint Eastwood (Any of the Spaghetti Westerns):
Resolve - Able to overcome any obstacle by sheer force of will.
Intimidation - His prowess with a weapon and force of personality enabled him to force his will on others.
Slaughter - Anyone on the wrong end of his ire had little chance of surviving the coming tempest.

These are "powers?" Seriously?

I freely admit this isn't a "power", but hey, always having the right comeback can be cool.

The movie Swashbuckler (1976)

Lord Durant: "A gentleman knows when to use his sword and when to lay it down. Have you forgotten, Lynch, that was what you once were?"

Lynch: "I'm not a gentleman; I'm an Irishman."

:)

How about the martial arts?

As Charlie MacKenzie (So I Married an Axe Murderer) said: "You know, Scotland has its own martial arts. Yeah, it's called F*ck You. It's mostly just head butting and then kicking people when they're on the ground."

16. James Tiberius Kirk: Woo women to your side, either infuriating your enemies into attacking in a blind rage or having the ladies intervene, saving you from certain death.

I submit Madmartigan of Willow fame.

Bluff, disguise, seduction, leading armies, sledding, monster lore, trap-making, baby-sitting... the man had it all going on!

Tony Stark: SUper GEnius. Also a prodigious drinker & ladies man (depending on era).

Angus MacGyver: whiz with physics, chemistry & engineering

Casey Rybek: a lowly ship's cook

El Mariachi: guitarist

The Blind Man (Circle of Iron): flautist
