Wee Jas. How we can taunt Garl for his name and set aside hers is beyond me. At least my players don't feel the need to mock Glittergold.

"Wee Jas" is Elven for "Wedgies". While "Garl" is Orc for "technicolor rainbow".

You be the judge.

But then, there's always Myleaky. Spelled phonetically, anyway.

I say "death to Erythnul!", mainly because the name's dumb. It looks like a name backwards, but it isn't even. Bleh.

Quite a bit of Lolth hatred. I like it!

Personally, I'm fond of Wee Jas - Savage Tide has made me love the gal. Plus, so far, I've killed not one, but TWO of her clerics in the Savage Tide arc. How cool is that?

Tiamat always bugged me. I always thought she and that creepy Dungeon Master were trying way too hard to look like they were fighting.

Sadly, noone seems to revere Brandobaris anymore.

Core gods come in two flavors: Unbelievably boring (Pelor, Kord) and really interesting (Wee Jas and Fharlanghanananananan, especially after WotC's series of articles making his faith quite a bit darker and more cult-like).

I still like Roger Moore's demihuman pantheons, even after all these years. Honestly, I think the non-humans got the better deal, theologically speaking, in AD&D.

Garl to start with. Not only is it a really dumb name, but he's the embodiment of everything wrong with the gnome stereotype.

It was a tough call, though, and I can already tell you who my next vote is going to: Vecna. Don't get me wrong, I like Vecna a lot, but he belongs as an ancient mysterious figure or, at most, a demigod. His ascension to the ranks of true divinity really weakened him as a character and a concept, IMO.

I dont really dislike any of them. I really do like Wee Jas, though. Death and Magic, cool combo. I had an awesome Lawful Neutral Cleric of Wee Jas once. Rebuked undead. Would command any undead we came across. In several games I had a small horde of ghouls and zombies marching before the party in Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil.

I know undead aren't really her thing, but I figured why waste the effort of destroying them when I could use them to destroy our enemies and get them wasted in the process?

I voted Yondalla. I was going to vote Pelor, but I couldn't remember if he was the dull Greyhawk god that I was initially thinking of, and didn't bother to check my books.

I'm a bit surprised at the Lolth hate, though (maybe I shouldn't be). Is it just because of the FR drow overkill that everyone hates her so much? Greyhawk (original) Lolth was cool, wasn't she?

Transference is bad, mmkay? ;)
