Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 1E
Call of Cthulhu 3rd-5th edition
D&D Rules Cyclopedia (the more I re-read this the more I realize that this is an edition of D&D I really want to return to soon).
'Classic' Traveller (Intro Book 0 and Books 1-3 or the Traveller hardcover)
Mutants & Masterminds 2E
That's the short list. I might try playing 3E core only but not run it. Ditto 1E AD&D. I wouldn't play 4E with just the core rulebooks as many classes really needed the boost they got from their various powers books (paladin & wizard are probably the most notable).
