"Obviously not everyone, R.C.," replies Tifa with a small smile. She pauses for a moment, looking over everyone thoughtfully for a few seconds, then nods after a moment. "A One-Two-Evernight-Knockout... little early to be hitting the hard stuff, R.C."

She takes the glass of synthehol to Krandor, setting it on the table. "Well, while you're waiting, I suggest you play some pinball." She points towards the old pinball machine sitting in the corner as she rounds the bar, picking up the glass she had been cleaning and starts on it again. "Careful with the left flipper, though -- it sticks occasionally."

[sblock=Dire Lemming]There is a back area behind the bar and Tifa, most likely to the kitchen area. Something that may catch your eye, however, is a small raised dais at the front of the pinball machine -- occasionally such a dais is used as a small personal lift, although it appears from the look of the cantina interior that it descends to an area below.[/sblock]

Krandor studies the newcomers as he sips his drink.
[sblock=spot]I'd like to check and see if any of the group (or Tifa) have weapons on them, and what kind.[/sblock] "Hmm... You humans are so round-about and tricksssey." He shrugs, a gesture which is obviosly second-nature to him. "Pinball is not my game; I prefer the diccce. My name is Krandor Th'rassik. Don't give me your real namess if you don't want to, but a true Trandoshan never concccealss his identity." While he speaks, he reaches into his trenchcoat and pulls a set of chance cubes from a small pocket. "Any takerssss?"

Vincent stares at the pinball machine for a moment and then walks over and tries to figure out how to operate it. He stands on the dais and takes a while to examine the odd contraption to make sure it's safe before deciding to try the button on the left side.

OOC:Vincent doesn't know what a pinball machine is.

"Cydarius Rath," says Cyd, introducing himself to the trandoshan. Moving over to inspect the pinball machine, the human gives a low whistle. "I can respect an antique, I really can, but this thing is truly a relic!"

[sblock=Dire Lemming]OOC: No traps of any kind to disable. However, there is something odd about the left button -- extra wiring underneath where none is needed, at least as compared to the right side.

IC: Once the lift drops down and stops, you find yourself in a hallway nearly 20 meters long, with one door on either side at the far end from the lift. Previous experience is enough to know that this the standard layout for a Sector subterranean cell.[/sblock]

[sblock=penance]Tifa, at least, is apparently without any weapons visible on her person from what you saw when she brought your drink.[/sblock]

The moment Vincent presses the left button, the upraised dais upon which he's standing begins to drop slowly through the floor, and he disappears from view.

Tifa glances over, shakes her head, and goes back to her cleaning glasses. "The rest of you might want your turn pretty soon. One of the Sigma Division patrols will be along shortly, and they like to look in on me... or at me, is more like it."

Krandor glances at his chance cubes dissapointedly and returns them to his one of the many pockets. "Martech thugsssss..." He hisses, and spits on the ground. "If you ever need help with those vermin, just let me know." With that he walks to the sunken lift and jumps to the bottom.

Vincent sighs as he walks down the hallway towards the doors, he continues looking for security systems, this certainly wasn't the best hidden secret room he'd ever been in, someone who was just a bit curious about that machine could have found it by accedent. When he reaches the end of the hallway he examines both doors for security systems and then opens and looks through each.

"Oh I wouldn't worry about Tika here. Ever since what happen the last time, they now stay well outside of hands reach." Says R.C. with small chuckle as she waits her turn to down the secret lift. Once down she follows the rest of the crew towards their destination all the while spinning a hydrospanner between her fingers. Men their all the same. They always think they can go walking all over us females whenever they want.
