D&D General Correspondence with David Trampier and A History of His 1985 Attempt to Crowdfund a Wormy Anthology

Harrison Ford That Belongs In A Museum GIF

Sadly, I don't think there's a well-known "Museum of Roleplay"...
In fact there is, and specifically for RPG artwork: see http://kodercollection.org/ and Koder Collection

Thanks for this. Every 5-10 years I'll remember Wormy and search for that collected anthology. I never knew it wasn't made. At the time, I think I was about 13 and paying for a Dragon subscription and buying D&D books and comic books was enough of a wallet drainer. Now I'm kicking myself, because people like me who used to frequently re-read the strips would love to have a physical book form. I really wish he would have finished it. I used to love rereading the series, and finding all the panels that various trolls appeared in.

💯

It's a crying shame that the original crowdfunding effort didn't get enough support and the story couldn't be finished.

I guarantee that if Tramp had somehow retained interest and desire into the Kickstarter era a re-try would have garnered a ton of support. Who knows how many thousands of us were enchanted by that art?
