CotSQ with Drow PC's

Has anyone tried running City of the Spider Queen using Drow PC’s? I’m 99% positive I’m heading that way using Drow from House Jaerle.

What odd issues did you encounter because of this?

Do you think it made it more or less fun for your DM and/or players?

Does anyone who ran this adventure with non-Drow PC’s any advise about issues they encountered?

Funny you should ask this question. I'm gming a City of the Spider Queen game doing just this. We're using House Millithor (the pre-gen 2e house from the Menzoberanzan boxed set)

If you look at the character creation rules, the background, etc., you'll see my attempt to deal with some of the issues of using Drow in the City of the Spider Queen adventure. The WOTC adventure mentions its possible to do so, but they don't give very clear guidance on how to go about doing it (i.e. a lot is left to the GM).
