Could Kenzer takeover Dragon?

Looks like I'll be perusing KoDT next time I'm in my FLGS... it'd need to have at least some D&D-friendly stuff in there for me to pick it up, though (even stuff that's not D&D but usable in D&D).

*thinks he might...if it was ever IN a store that he went too* My FLGS in Morgantown left town and the only other one that carries such thing...doesn't carry it regularly.

Plus no other bookstore does either.

You can sometimes ask your bookstore (and FLGS) to carry certain things, and though it may take a while, they can usually eventually do it.

Whenever my local comic book store misses putting an issue of KoDT in my reserve box I just go order it off of their website. It is very easy and ships promptly. I've ordered other products of theirs from the site as well-it is really well done.

Also, mark me down as a loyal fan who would love to see you guys expand your format and go full-size. Your mag is so loaded with content now it seems like it might explode at times. Why not go easy on the old girl and give her a nice new house? ;)

Jdvn1,

The FLGS now couldn't do with Dragon OR Dungeon. Why should I ask them if I think they won't? I'm just saying...

I might ask Books a Million...Isn't kenzer based in the south?

Ask Walden Books or Books-A-Million. I know that Borders would order it if I asked them too.

I guess my question then is simply: does your submission guidelines cover this kind of thing, or should I send a special query?

You can find our guidelines here... http://www.kenzerco.com/Operiodicals/kodt/submission_guidelines.pdf

Important thing to remember is we're an open door as far as submissions.

If have an idea for a feature/article that's not covered in the guidelines you can still pitch it to us and we'll consider it. I believe the guidelines point that out. So feel free to send a special query at any time.

We'll definitely be running more D&D material.

Recently we published a couple articles by Loyd Brown III that were very well received.

Ironically, my buddy just said to me yesterday that KotD would become the hobby industry magazine. I'm glad I support my FLGS by getting every issue there (counting a few compilations, I have a complete collection). This is good news.
