I have two questions and one nitpick about Complete Arcane.

1.) On the Chaotic Mind ability from the Wild Mage PRC: It states the creature is warded by a continuous nondetection effect but it has no caster level. Is it so that Supernatural abilities don't require caster levels and that in this case her nondetection is unbeatable?

2.) On the Wildstrike ability also from the Wild Mage PRC: There it says an enemy gains no save but spell resistance still applies. However here they don't mention a caster level so do I just use the level she gets the ability (10th) or perhaps her total arcane caster level?

Useless nitpick (I'm bored): The alienist familiar traits ability states that alienist levels stack with levels in another class in which she has a familiar for determining familiar abilities. It also reads that if you have more than one class which has a familiar you must pick one to stack it with. However in the PHB in the multi-classing section it reads that sorcerer and wizards levels stack to determine familiar abilities. What? Huh?

Told you I was bored :).

Since it's a class ability, I'd use your level in the class to determine the effective caster level.

I'd use the former (10th level) for the same reason mentioned above.

Useless response: It's true that both wizard and sorcerer (or any class that grants a familiar) levels stack for determining a familiar's granted abilities but for the sake of bookeeping and the RAW, you MUST choose which of your base classes the alienist's familiar traits will stack with FIRST, which will then in turn be stacked with your other base class' familiar ability. It's all about tracking pointless details. ;)

If a supernatural or spell-like ability does't specify a caster level, then the caster level is equal to the user's hit dice.
From the SRD:
For creatures with spell-like abilities, a designated caster level defines how difficult it is to dispel their spell-like effects and to define any level-dependent variables (such as range and duration) the abilities might have. The creature’s caster level never affects which spell-like abilities the creature has; sometimes the given caster level is lower than the level a spellcasting character would need to cast the spell of the same name. If no caster level is specified, the caster level is equal to the creature’s Hit Dice.
From the SRD:
Unless otherwise noted, a supernatural ability has an effective caster level equal to the creature’s Hit Dice.
