Counter Collection III

Kirowan

First Post
I just picked up Counter Collection III: Modern. Does anyone know what happened to the empty boxes and arrows that are on the counters in the other sets?

Also, does D20 Modern use all square facings?

Thanks,

Nick

Yep

Hi Kirowan,

Hope you like the Counters for d20 Modern. Personally, that's one of my favourite sets that we've put out.

D20M does indeed use square facings, all of the counters were based on the actual rules (or at least a pre-release copy that WotC kindly gave to us).

No little squares on this set to be different; we made each of the counters unique with coloring and position. In hindsight, we probably could have added the numbering boxes to allow GMs to purchase multiple sets (something we try to encourage!!).

Future note, the numbering spots will be re-appearing in Counter Collection IV: World of the Diamond Throne for use with Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed. Of course, to make them different, they're circles!

As far as the blocks are concerned, I can take them or leave them. I laminate my counters anyway so I can always mark them during play.

Keep the counters coming. I don't have the time or the talent to paint minis so your counters are perfect for me.

James, do you think you'll release an update pack of counters to cover the creatures that got their sizes shifted in 3.5? That way I'll be covered when switching between games that use the old size and the new size rules.

Pretty please?

Nick

v3.5

Lamination - great idea!

That is exactly what they are for.

We will be updating counters to v3.5 in the not-too-distant future. Unfortunately they did change the size so we have effectively two separate markets for counters now....but a good excuse for Klaus to get crackin on some new art!
