Countering a party's tactics

Stone Angel

First Post
OK here is the skinny. Our party is way overpowered. We have tons of magic items, a couple of artifacts. Our stats are ridiculous And everyone has some crazy immunities.

OK my character Beld: 1/2 fire Elemental Ftr 2, Sorcerer 17, with a Divine Rank of 0.

Veqh an Astral Deva (SS 20 level class) with the Divine Rank of 0. He wields two bad maces one being a mace of Ruin

Alyssa a cleric 21 or 22 and Chosen of Veqh (I know technically it is illegal but the DM has allowed it). Who wields an artifact known as the sword of destiny. It has some nifty powers the afore most being the fact that it ignores all deflection bonus to AC and it ignores DR regardless of source. It also permanetly slays any creature that has a rejuvenation factor(Such as a Tarrasque, a God with the Rejuvanate sailient power, or a lich)

Imsh a 1/2 copper dragon, 1/2 earth elemental Ftr or Bbn not sure. And his EL is 20. He wields a Huge Pick made of platinum.

Fistan a 21 level wizard and Chosen of Mystara. Has his own Demi plane and has Tons of Epic spells cast on him that have made him nearly invulnerable to all elemental energy, gave himself a natural AC bonus of +30 and a bunch of bonus' to his saves.

Now we have come to a point towards then end of the campaign. We started out then ran the CoTSQ. Which was the focus and destroyed the Claw of the Revenancer. Pissed off Mephistopheles. And now we are at a point to where we are going to kill Kiransalee. So I proposed this for a more dramatic end. When we get to the throne room there lays Kiransallee body chained to the throne wit spiked chains(my favorite weapon and of choice) a body that has been charred(fire spells that are my favorite).

So what do you think of this? What tactics should I use. Just in General. There is also the possibility that I will have an epic lich as a caster by my side.

Some tips please or ideas in general

Um, your post isn't exactly clear... are you the DM trying to stop this party or are you starting an intra-party war?

If you're the DM, my first suggestion is to get a "sunder-specialized" uber-fighter-type minion with an artifact level weapon. His job? Sunder the sword of destiny and the mace of Ruin. That should significantly slow down their wielders.

As for Fistan, you want to hit him with "no save allowed" spells - ESPECIALLY Otto's Irresistable Dance... which you might follow up with Reflex save spells (since he'll have a -10 penalty to Ref saves at that point)... if you can surround him with a bunch of critters that can take the AoOs on him every round that his dancing provokes, that would be icing on the cake.

Enervation is a lower-level, but just as nasty, possibility, since it also gives no save and it states in the spell description "negative levels stack" so you can keep draining him with multiple castings. And since each negative level gives a -1 to saves and forces him to lose a high-level spell slot, this can whittle him down to size quickly. Maximized, Empowered Enervations can be particularly nasty (6 negative levels but uses a 9th-level slot). If you can pull it off (I don't know if your DM lets a sorcerer use Quickened spells as free actions), a Quickened Enervation each round in addition to your other spells ain't bad, either.

Ideally, you apply an Extended "Dance" (9th level spell slot, will keep him busy for 4-10 rounds) then hit him with Maximized and/or Empowered Enervations while he's busy dancing. Then when "Dance" wears off, get him to dance again, wash, rinse, repeat. If you're lucky enough to hit him (should be easy with touch attacks - and assuming can keep the rest of the party busy), and have the spell slots to do it, an "Extended Dance" will give you at least 4 rounds of draining... with Maximized, Empowered Enervations, you can inflict 24 negative levels on him in that time, so assuming you can hit him with the Extended Dance (and it should be easier to hit him with the Enervations afterwards) and can keep his compatriots at bay for four rounds, he's basically toast. Yes, that's 5 9th-level spell slots, but you don't have to deal with any of his strengths, and the chances of him stopping the combo once he's dancing are essentially nil.

If you have a lich "Tag-teaming" on him using the same tactics, 3 rounds till he's dead, with no chance of fighting back.

And if you're worried about hitting him, just bust out a "True Strike" - the +20 to your next attack should be plenty to start the process.

Nasty, but brutally effective. :)

Off the top of my head, that's my recommendation.

Err, let me get this straight. You're asking how you should kill a Goddess by yourself, without the rest of your party knowing?

Yeek. I got nothin'.

Wait.
How is it more dramatic if you kill her alone, instead of kill her with the help of the party?
That just makes it more dramatic for you, and utterly boring for the rest of the party.

Jumping off from Len's suggestion, convince the Defenders of Daybreak, the Liberators of Tenh, and Mostin & co. to give you a hand.

Or, given that those are all PCs in other games and are thus somewhat unlikely to be easy to get on your side, go talk to Orcus about getting a little payback against the drow goddess that tried to steal his game.

Of course, assuming you do get the demon prince to join up with you, expect to be double-crossed in the end.

Mordenkainen's Disjunction. Watch him cry as the gold and XP he spent on all those epic spells vanishes into the Weave. Then cuisinart him, possibly with hyena-like laughing.

Without knowing more, I can't make any recommendations as to the other characters, other than trying to target their weaknesses. However, Fistan just cries out for a disjunction.

OK sorry that is unclear. I merely thought it would be a much more cool end to the campaign if when they get to the denoument it is not Kiransalee they fight but me. Beld. There would be a total WTF factor and I would need the Sword of Destiny and another artifact to power my own artifact that I am going to make. But they won't let me have them and for good reason. But all of that will be "handled" out of game.

The actual fight agains my own party is what I was curious about. And there have been some good suggestions. Thanks.

And why doesn't the DM post on here simply because she doesn't.
