Richard K. Morgan, author of Altered Carbon, has penned a book that was released under two titles, the UK version is titled 'Black Man' and the US version is titled 'TH1RTE3N'
Wow.
Pure CP2020 setting, replete with major corporations, runners, vying goverments and familias.. even the Triad and NYPD's bravest get screen time. Not so much on the 'cyberware', most of the tech is synthetic drugs and biotech.
If I ever get another CP2020 game up in my neck of the woods, I would really like to try to use this world. I highly recommend the book.. and would love to have the time to flesh it out as a setting {but since I lack the time...would be glad to hand over some cash for someone-elses product
