Oh, Tennessee is full of 'em!

Turtletown
Ducktown
Bean Station
Pall Mall
Love Lady
Red Boiling Springs
Pigeon Forge
Wartburg

I know, because I was born and raised there. :)

I've lived in TN almost 15 years, and it still seems like a foreign country sometimes! Don't forget world famous:
Lynchburg.

What would think if you saw that in a work of fiction? I'd think "Its a town of mob violence and lawlessness."

Europe has a lot of cool names for places too. One of my favorites is

Rotterdam.

That just sounds like a place of decay and evil.

Isn't there a St. Aaa in Cornwall? ;)

Speaking locally, we've got Blue Ball, Gap, Bird In Hand, and Intercourse. I don't wanna know. Oh, and there's a place called Lawn not too far from here. And the northern Pennsylvania town of Jersey Shore, nowhere near either Jersey or the shore.
