I modified my signature to add a link to Tempest. Could be useful for others to do the same?

Will do.

Turnail, I can't seem to upload the files to the Yahoo group. Do you have any idea how to resolve this? :(

Alas no... Myself I am unable to add stuff on the Wiki page! :(
I invited you to the wiki, so that should solve that problem. Just log in at wikispaces and you should be able to accept the invitation.

I also see you've uploaded the files there, so apparently all our problems are solved. :)

I disagree. You can't post (to the S.15) what doesn't exist. That requirement is there to protect people who want their copyright (most of us), not the people who want to give it away.
IANAL, but to publish something under a license it must be copyrighted, that is what gives you the power to apply the license. It can only be OGC if the author holds the copyright and releases it under the OGL using his power as the copyright holder. You can release something without copyright, but then people are under no obligation to follow the OGL. They could do whatever they want with public domain items short of copyrighting it themselves.

Hrm. Good point. So we could release the setting as public domain, but not anything previously published under the SRD...which would rather defeat the point. ;)

A few quicks notes:
1) I'm uncomfortable with the direct analogies to existing, copyrighted, PI, non-OGC deities. Not the new deities themselves, mind you (though I haven't read all of them), but the current [this is a trademarked name] thing. It makes more sense to me to identify a bunch of fundamental divine deities (sun god, forest god, ocean god, sky god, moon god, god of magic, god of thieves) and go from there. I think the core D&D pantheon has some missing spaces anyways.
Again, I'm not saying the current gods don't work -- I'd just like to remove the obvious parallels to works we shouldn't be referencing anyways.

2) "A storm is brewing on the horizon" is...awkward. It combines two common phrases "A storm is brewing" and "(there is) a storm on the horizon" that mean about the same thing. In tag lines, simpler is better. It should be changed to "A storm is brewing".

3) In a similar vein, "Pact of the Stone" is slightly awkward. IMO, it'd be nice to set up something that mirrors the sound of the "Alliance of Crowns": "Pact of Stone", "Pact of Jewels", or "Pact of Thrones" (my favorite) would all work.

I'll try and do more later. I've got some ideas for Berin (y'all can go play on the big continent; I'll leave you alone...). ;)

To be blunt, I think that a mutitude of small realms, kingdoms and city-states each doing their own thing and occasionally engaging in border wars is... boring. We should aim for a more epic scale, while still leaving room for more generic stuff. The following is loosely inspired by the excellent Heavy Gear setting (which does political intrigue really well)

Just a quick counterpoint: you can have a multitude of small realms, kingdoms, and city-states that are linked & allied through a philosophy, religion, or common interest. Witness the Crusades. And the smaller political entities give room for the PCs to make their mark, a la Birthright.

I'm not opposed to the current layout, as long as it doesn't turn into A vs B. I find that boring.

Sizewise, I'm thinking Berin is at least the size of Australia. I'm not sure what that makes the other continent. I'll work it out later. But there's considerable space between the two.
