Of course, in D&D, they might raise axe-beaks instead of chickens...

I am currently in the process of creating Arcturan society (Marvel universe, alien race, Starhawk is a member). I am doing so as the Arcturans have recently discovered a before unknown sector of space - in what used to be a vast, nigh impassable expanse of nothingness.

That is now inhabited by the traditional DnD planets and such.
