[Creative Exercise] Worlds in a word, planes in a paragraph

SS Ariadne - steamship of infinite size. Travels the oceans of the multiverse, picking up lost souls stranded at sea. Endless battle between the Captain and the Rat King. The Captain controls the top decks and yells orders orders through the intercoms, ranging from basic repairs to demanding you sacrifice the cabin boy. The Rat King's domain is the dark places in the bowls of the ship, granting magic power to those to cunning and desperate...

The Merry Land - hairy footed shirelings gossip in the fields, dweorgs carve new sons in the flinty hills and goblins prank in the marshes. Giants grumble about the Old War, when the small folk allied with the Green Man, who drove them and their king, Gogmagog, into the northern mountains. The Lords and Ladies demand dances in order to change the seasons. The King of Fallen Leaves lurks in the ruins of an ancient castle, muttering and plotting...

The Spiral - the Spiral is endless, so they say. At least as endless as the Ethereal Plane it inhabits. Among the civilisations that on the giga-structure is the Republic of New Gilead. Board an aethership, such as the Seraphite, captained the famous Gustaf Koel or explore with the Multiversal Catalogica with Doctor Eva Visser as she studies the worlds beyond the Ridge...

The Midgardian Resistance - They came to Midgard through a gate, from some world on a distant branch of Yggdrasill. Driven from there by some overwhelming force. Their sorcerers craft foul metal machines that corrupt the land and blacken the sky. The twisted version of the sacred Sonnenrad emblazoned on their armour. They burn your homes and mead halls, whilst declaring themselves your masters and this world to be theirs. Pick up your axes and spears, my kin. Stand by your former foes, Jotunn, troll and alfar. Crush these invaders into the dirt. They deserve nothing less.

Edesya, the Sweet World - wise Gummy Bears inhabit the Lollipop Woods, providing counsel to the Treacle King and Syrup Queen. Challenge the Sweet Rock Dragons and explore the Chocolate Citadel. Defeat the plots of the Muscas Cult, who seek to release lovecraftian Flies from the Bitter Beyond.

Torrid Zone - Setting is on a planet slightly closer to its sun than Earth is. As a result the poles are warm enough to be habitable but the tropics are uninhabitably hot[/B]

I had an idea pop into my head this morning for a Jovian moon named Ensalada which is made of iceberg lettuce (a parody of the real jovian moon Enceladus, whose surface is a giant iceberg floating on a planetwide sea). Could work as a gag in a Toon game.
