As an idea, symbiotic humanoids can use mind-affecting abilities, even though the creature is normally immune.Gez said:I liked the possibility for someone to enter the jellyfish and to control it, but well...
It's imho closer to the negative levels it deals to the monstrous jellyfishes. A Will save (DC 23) for temporary damage might be possible.Gez said:One question, though, why permanent wisdom damage? I find it a bit too harsh. Temporary would be more than enough.
Will seems to be a better fit.Tonguez said:(so perhaps give the inhabitants a fort save to take temporay rather than permanent damage)

My idea above would allow for some control, wouldn't it?Gez said:Why removing the possibility for someone to control the jellyfish?
I wanted to be less harsh on symbiotic humanoids than on attracted jellyfishes. Over time, he'd lose his jellyfish "allies", while humanoid allies would be around longer, but possibly more "annoying", as far as it could really be annoyed.Gez said:Permanent Wisdom Damage: Why negative levels, then?
