Creature by Poll # 6 - Gathering Creature Concepts!

I think we have the important basics covered by now. Our creature will be a Gargantuan Vermin, with 20 to 23 Hit Dice. Alignment for most vermin is Always Neutral, with a few exceptions. What I want you to do now is write a short creature concept for our creature, with the following additional information:

The number of Hit Dice the creature should have (from 20 to 23). If you don't provide a number before the concept poll comes rolling, I'll assume 21 Hit Dice.

And the Alignment you think the creature should have. As said above, most vermin are always neutral, and I would like to encourage you to use that. If you really think it should have a non-neutral alignment, though, say so. If you provide no alignment, I'll assume Always neutral.

So, come up with your concepts!

Question: How many concepts are allowed per person?

Concept: Gigantic Extraplanar Beetle from the Plane of Archeron with a dark metallic exoskeleton and a bite that can dissolve metal. (Lawful Evil, 23HD)

How about a gigantic cricket that can produce horrible, ear-shredding noise with its feet? 20HD and Neutral.

A giant stick insect, about 20 feet long, that prey on ancient treants and other plant creatures. (21 HD, neutral).

35 foot long emerald Dragonflythat devours it's prey after disolving it with it's acid breath.

I say we go Pseudonatural. How about a big rotting bag of flesh that has pipes and rusty-blades sticking out of it. 3 long thin arachnid legs are placed symetrically around its body. At its front is a long spine-like neck with no skin that ends with a cracked doll-like head that has white vestigal eyes. It is stupid yet some Psionic beast that is unaware of its mental powers, plus it would have a very low charisma score because it it hardly recognizes the difference between a rock and a person. You could call it a Mannequin Tripod. It would be neutral as you said, as it just traverses the Far Realm grazing of the fragile dreams of mortal animals...

An Island sized Jelly fish - transparent (huge hide bonus) except for a few purple viens and its mile long stinging tentacles. This creature floats across the oceans drifting on the current and wind and is often surrounded by swarms of smaller jelly fish that somehow link together in a single hivemind...

For the moment, just one. If we don't get many, I might be tempted to allow two concepts per poster.

But, but, that would be either an aberration or an outsider, and we are supposed to do a Vermin.

We have seen a number of strange Vermin even in official books, such as the Leechwalker or the Ectoplasmic Vermin (Ghostwalk). I would say that it is a little bit out of line for vermin, though. If you can get rid of the more artificial parts of the creature (pipes and blades), I personally would be considering it a viable Vermin.
