Would we just replace Knowledge (arcana) with Knowledge (psionic), Spellcraft with Psicraft, and Use Magic Device with Use Psionic Device? Any other changes need to be made for the psionic baku?

Don't forget that it's got a sinlge SLA (invisibility) as well as it's whole bunch of PLA! So you may wish to confuse matters by giving it knowledge(psionics) & knowledge(arcana) etc.

Also, it seems that where ECL = over 20, wizards tend not to state the LA of a creature. However, currently we have ECL 20 (HD 12 + LA 8) - so we can state LA 8 if we want to (though LA 6 seems more appropriate to me! - LA 8 just makes it a bit too close to "starting at EPIC" for my likeing! - I never got the impression the Baku was meant to be a creature of that sort of magnitude)

Personally, I'd follow wizard's style & leave the LA out, otherwise you're going to have to do a "Baku as characters" bit for the write up! Might be nice to play a Baku, but it does seem a mite silly

Size wise, I'd leave it as is - a Huge Baku just doesn't seem to fit the feel of the original!

PS - You've given it the Psionic Affinity feat - have you given it ranks in the skills that Psionic Affinity adds to?

I'd stick with the standard WOTC format of Knowledge (arcana)/Spellcraft/Use Magic Device for the standard stat block, and Know (psi)/Psicraft/Use Psionic Device for the "if you're using XPH" version.

I'm standing by my decision for Huge. If it's as big as an Indian elephant, it should be the same size (Huge).

I agree with dropping the LA.

there's something i didn't take into account when determining the size. it's 9 feet tall, but how wide is it? it could very easily be over 16 feet long, making it on the smaller end of Huge.

Celestial seems a no-brainer. Common, Elven, Sylvan, and Draconic could work.

Since it's 9 feet tall, I'd but it in the 8,500-9,000 pounds range.
