Will do, but I'm counting on your help to finish this up (like descriptions of how the elemental princes of evil look...I don't have my ol' Fiend Folio with me).

i shall try... aren't the evil archomentals and slaad lords in the CC? :)

I'd like to propose an article called "Lords of the Elements", which would cover the archomentals, also known as the Princes of Elemental Evil and Elemental Good. It would probably need to be a two-parter to do them justice.

According to the Manual of the Planes, the elemental lords "are physical beings of godlike power and strength. They differ from deities in that they do not have the same god/worshiper relationship with mortals. Regardless, they are venerated by some mortals and implored for favors by others, and they may choose to deliver their aid as it takes their fancy."

The article would begin with an overview of the archomentals and their shared traits. The first article would outliine the five Elemental Princes(ses) of Evil, and the second the four Elemental Princes(ses)of Good. Each has spell-like abilities, as well a few special abilities tied to its element.

The Evil Archomentals:

Cryonax, Prince of Evil Cold Creatures (Elemental, CR 22)
Cryonax iappears as a 35-foot tall yeti with tentacles in place of arms. Each tentacle is covered with many suction cups.
Originally found in the first edition Fiend Folio.

Imix, Prince of Evil Fire Creatures (Elemental, CR 22)
Imix appears as an 18-foot tall column of flame, radiating powerful waves of heat at all times.
Originally found in the first edition Fiend Folio.

Ogremoch, Prince of Evil Earth Creatures (Elemental, CR 23)
Ogrèmoch looks like an unfinished bipedal humanoid standing about 32 feet tall. His eyes are deep, inset, and dark and his mouth is the same. He has no apparent nose or ears. Ogrèmoch’s arms end in unfinished hands and his legs end in unfinished feet.
Originally found in the first edition Fiend Folio.

Olhydra, Princess of Evil Water Creatures (Elemental, CR 22)
Olhydra appears as a 35-foot tall humanoid composed of water. She has no discernable features (eyes, nose, etc.).
Originally found in the first edition Fiend Folio.

Yan-C-Bin, Prince of Evil Air Creatures (Elemental, CR 21)
Yan-C-Bin appears as a 35-foot tall air elemental.
Originally found in the first edition Fiend Folio.

The Good Archomentals:

Ben-Hadar, Prince of Good Water Creatures (Elemental, CR 22)
Ben-Hadar is a tall humanoid figure made purely of water.
Originally found in Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix III.

Chan, Princess of Good Air Creatures (Elemental, CR 22)
Chan is an invisible entity of softly churning air.
Originally found in Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix III.

Sunnis, Princess of Good Earth Creatures (Elemental, CR 23)
Snnis takes the form of a tall, muscular woman with features chiseled out of stone.
Originally found in Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix III.

Zaaman Rul, Prince of Good Fire Creatures (Elemental, CR 20)
Zaaman Rul is a 10 ft. tall, red-skinned humanoid with long black hair and black eyes.
Originally found in Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix III.

I sent the proposal shown above for the archomentals.

For the slaad lords, should we submit them as a group, or each as its own individual article, like the current Pazuzu article?

sending out a slaad lord entry too? :) i doubt there is more info you can get from any other sources that you would need for the proposal than what you would find in the CC. if we get picked for such an article, i can share the source material with you again.

Good point....as a group it is.

I noticed that the HD are extremely high in the CC. Are those the original HD, or did Scott inflate them? Ygorl has 70 HD...that's 31 more than Demogorgon!

scott inflated them (he wrote ygorl and ssendam aka glory and madness, i did the other two). ;) if we write that article, we will refigure the HD. in the original stats, ssendam had 197 hp, and ygorl had 210. i don't know about the two from the Dragon article at the moment, but you should be able to figure out approximately based on that.

I believe they were inflated - Upper_Krust helped with those conversions a bit, I believe.

And remember, there were no stats for comparison back then. ;) (perhaps except Bahamut and Tiamat)
