Creature Incarnations: Gnolls

Man, the quality of these recent Dragon articles is fantastic! I absolutely love getting all of this really nice new content every week. The subscription price is totally worth it.

Gnolls are so cool, too.

Great article!

HEY ARI. First, want to say this looks nice. Real snazzy. Woo, art. :D This is the "Gnoll Month" it seems.
Every month is Gnoll Month!

Seriously, it's fantastic how much love gnolls have gotten. A demon lord, a player race, and now this! It makes me want to give Ari and Wizards a hug.

Thanks Ari - I LOVE gnolls (and they are very appropriate when running an African-based campaign ;)).

In fact I just wrote up 4 differnt gnolls last week, not knowing this was coming up. Fortunately you have gone for tougher opponents I will be able to use down the track. I made gnoll minions and a standard soldier with a battle axe (as I have about 20 gnoll minis with battle axes, yet none in the MM use them from memory).

Given I am ken to do another 4 gnolls, this will REALLy get me through. Awesome. (Oh, and Ari - you will be pleased to know I added a little 'savage warrior' to one of my gnolls ;)).

Cheers, C

Drat.

I love gnolls, but I can't read the article for some bizzare reason. I recently had to rebuild my computer (wretched iPhone) and even though I have Acrobat 9 on my system, i keep getting a window that says Acrobat 5 is unable to open pdfs in a window. Unfortunately, the Wizards site doesn't allow a simple download to disk.

I've seen this problem in work, usually related to Adobe Acrobat - not reader - being installed.

Is that the case?

Cannot remember what the fix is, but I worked around it by changing the application settings in the firefox options to launch the file rather than display in a window.
