Quest’s End announced a partnership with Critical Role for Sandkheg’s Hide, a premium small-batch bourbon inspired by the first season of Critical Role.

The whiskey is inspired by booze purchased by Grog during the game produced in the deserts of Marquet from the bile of the sandkheg. The real-world version from master blender Ale Ochoa is a cask-finished bourbon aged 4+ years in sherry and vermouth barrels with notes of baked apple, brown spice, shortbread cookie, and oak.

Founded last year, Quest’s End is a boutique liquor distiller and distributor founded by actor Matthew Lillard, screenwriter Justin Ware, and Blue Run Spirits co-founder Tim Sparapani featuring premium RPG-themed bourbons including Rogue, Paladin, Warlock, and Dragon varieties released so far.

Sandkheg’s Hide will come in a 750ml bottle along with a journal and map in a leather case describing the story of the whiskey’s inception from writer Jasmine Bhullar, artist Tyler Walpole, and cartographer Deven Rue. The limited-edition spirit will only be available from the website for three weeks with a retail price of $99.99. Presale starts on April 30, 2024, at 9 AM Pacific and will last 48 hours.
