Crown of the Kobold King Cover--What do you guys/gals think?

Wow, that is an awesome cover!

My only nit to pick is my long held pet peeve that the title should be the largest text on a cover. But that's just my opinion and mostly it's a reaction to those novels where the author's name is 3/4 of the cover, and the title is so small that it's barely legible. But at a glance "GameMastery Module" looks more like the title than the brand. But it's just a minor nitpick and my own uninformed opinion. :)

But that kobold simply rocks and is probably the best looking one I've seen in a very long time.

YES! More Kobold Love! I just want to hug it...after it puts that weapon down, that is! You all know I love my kobolds. ;)

And I'm all happy because I found out one of my friends is finally ready to actually run a game so I can play for a change...and I get to play my kobold summoner. Oh joyous day!

Very nice cover ! I like it a lot for the silliness vs. savageness aspect Ari was talking about. What a kobold king would feel like, I guess. :)

Looks great!

I'll give you guys credit just for not trying to crib on the look of old D&D mods but looking for something uniquely Paizo.

I may even have to pick this one up. :)

I agree with some other posters that the title seems to fight the cover art a bit; spacing changes and/or text size changes should help.

I *love* the art image itself-- the kobold king is fantastic. But, I wonder about the color choices (or maybe just image reproduction of the colors)-- the background green seems too strong to stay in the background since it is a similar tone to the foreground red on the king. Softening the pop will make the image less abrasive (but then, you might be going for that intentionally).

I wonder about the game stats: are you guys using the MM kobolds, or the Races of the Dragon kobolds, or the RotD web enhancement kobolds?? Each version is stronger (and better!) than the former iteration.

Throwing in my 2 cents, I'd say the title "Crown of the Kobold King" should be more prominent than it is. As is, the Gamemastery Module portion greatly overshadows it, and kind of makes it seem like a tutorial rather than an adventure.

Otherwise, I like it quite a bit. The picture makes me think of Prince Kol XIV of Mystara (minus the axe, that is). Who's the artist?

[EDIT- the idea to post the levels is good, too, although that could certainly be done in the text on the back of the module, too. I would presume that anyone interested would look at both the cover and the back. On the cover has the advantage of immediately drawing the attention to it for those curious, but on the back would mean that you might be more likely to have someone do more than just raise an eyebrow and actually look.

Although, now that I think of it- is this something that is only available as a .pdf? Or will there be hard copies available as well?
