Cryptic T-shirt at GenCon - Help, it's slowly driving me insane

Art Show t-shirt

My guess is this was a t-shirt from an art exhibit. Many artists, like Steve Stones, use pop icons in their work and put them in strange situations. Many artists love to confuse their audience.

Lewis Black. He heard it in an IHOP. It is the source of all aneurisms, which I have misspelled, I believe.

Ah yes, here it is. Aneurysm. I was close.

Sorry, very close but...

He heard it at the mall while his friends were looking at cell phones (thus missing the quote).

IHOP is where they give you a whole pot of coffee for yourself!

And it is obvious the guy in the shirt is a druggie, and the 'stew' is a distraction.

ColonelcanE rnie. [sic]

DUH!!!

:D

He heard it at IHOP. Later, when he was talking about anurisms he said something about the mall. But when he heard it he was eating pancakes at IHOP.

"If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college. I'm going to repeat that, because it bear's repeating. If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college. Don't think about that sentence for more than three minutes or your HEAD WILL EXPLODE! (trademark Lewis Black bulging forhead vain)"

Wow, 3 pages, and I'm still no closer to solving this one. I'm going to see if my L33T Google skillz are up to snuf. Surely there's something out there.

Don't do it Curtis! Just let it go! I wasted 30Min in this last night,
and don't chase that Cockney angle either...

If it was at Gen Con, it might have something to do with gaming (I know, it's a stretch... ;) ). Ernest is Gary Gygax's first name, isn't it? So that could be the Ernie referent.

Any Campbells in the history of D&D?

I have no idea what the Colonel has to do with it.

I'll bet that the person is reading this thread laughing at us.

There is no order or reason to that shirt, it is a chaotic mess of unrelated things made to drive people crazy.... soon the seizures will begin.

Gygaxes?

Perhaps it is some reference to the Gygax family. Gary mentions on his website that he is a southern colonel, so maybe it is Gary, Stu, and Ernie. (Is there a Stu Gygax?)
