CSA Renewal, ENGS Download Problems...

These kind of go hand in hand. I would gladly pay ahead on my CSA, but there are numerous links in my account that I cannot download. I see the *updated* message on many of them, which indicates that they have been fixed. But many more have not been fixed. These are lost to me, for all intents, if I lose this pc. Purchase security was what sold me on the ENWGS.

I support this site less with actual posts anymore so much as purchases. If the store continues to be broken, and pdfs I have already purchased continue to be gone apparently, that is a disincentive to extend my account.

Any word on how long it will take for accounts already paid for to be fixed?

That has a major affect on my desire to re-up early, and my confidence in the site in general.

Posts I don't give a darn about. I didn't "buy" my posts. The pdfs, however, I did pay for.

I've had the same problem on downloads, but I just post a note to Twin Rose (who works at the Game Store), and he fixes the links. Maybe you could try listing what you can't download?

The CSA problem is being worked on. There is still hope that a way can be found NOT to have to re-enter all the CS Accounts, by hand, so they're waiting to see the results of that test, before doing all the work over again... Hopefully, all CSAs can be re-entered in one fell swoop, without having to do each one by hand...

Chris IS the ENWGS, hence my fear that this is too much. One suscriber with problems, sure, but I doubt I am the only one. My suscriber $ is tied completely to my confidence in the ENW system, which is very low right now.

As a note, it is worth having a backup of any PDFs you purchase. The bookshelf is a free, courtesy convenience, but you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket and rely on it completely.

I don't have all my eggs in one basket. I have all my pdfs, ones from here and all the others I've gotten elsewhere, on my pc and on two seperate backup drives. But the functionality of the persistent bookshelf was part of what sold me on ENW's endeavor. If that is gone, I lose a major incentive in using the store.
