What kind of climate would you say each of the following cultures has (like a climate band)?

Hmmm. I'm not entirely sure that climate is really high on the list of factors influencing culture. I'd think that religion and values are much higher on the list. Concepts of individual identity and property rights should also rank up there. After all, the middle east supported numerous cultures before Mohammed. After Islam conquered the middle east, there was an entirely different (and much more similar) set of cultures. The islamic culture that was born in the middle East has also been exported to much of Africa and central Asia as well, demonstrating that Islamic culture at least can function over a significant range of climates. Similarly, the British colonists maintained many of their distinctive cultural traits around the empire they once ruled. (At least in the enclaves that housed significant numbers of British people).

It's also worth noting that Africa deserves far more than one entry--there are and were many cultures in Africa.

Similarly, medieval Europe deserves multiple entries--there were very significant differences between medieval France, medieval England, medieval Germany, and medieval Italy among others.

Lastly, Greece and Rome definitely deserve separate entries.
