Current Favorite Class?

Since the OP didn't specify a particular game for this discussion, the Negotiator from d20 Modern is teh bawm - if you believe Charisma is a dump stat, you should check this class out.

I'm also fond of the Scholar and the Nomad from Conan RPG.

However, if I ever play D&D again, I want to play a Paladin.

Whatever I'm playing at the moment. Seriously, it's hard to choose. In 2e I definitely favored specialty priests, but 3e clerics taste flat to me (if you know what I mean). I prolly most enjoy the wizard as far as PH classes go, and I also really have a serious liking for the scout.

Barbarian for now, but both the new classes in Heroes of Horror would be cool to try out. :)
not a fan of the Necromancer in HoH.

it just isn't built for a party campaign. unless the party is evil. and then only if they don't end up killing each other.

the whole negative energy vibe is a complete downer.

I just got Heros of Horror, and I am itching to unleash a Dread Necromancer on my party. I have wanted a single class Necromancer for a long time, and I finally got my wish.

I can honestly say I don't have a favorite class per se. But I have pledged that the next time I actually get to game (not DM), I am playing a kobold conjurer with the augment summoning feat. I even have a little kobold sorcerer mini and everything just waiting...

I like kobolds.

cleric. though i rarely get to play one.
... Why do you rarely get to play one? Cleric is one of those classes you can never have enough of.

rogue....thats such a goofy name for a class, if you really think about what the name means..."rogue class" is pretty much an oxymoron....i guess thief isnt cool enough for third edition..

my favorite class, and mind you im a 1e/2e/hackmaster player, is the classic human fighter. hes a neglected character type. i also enjoy playing clerics, paladdins, and rangers.i dont much care for thieves and bards. i think bards are a little too improbable, and theives are overplayed and too many people try to play them as standup fighters. of course in my campaign i tend to crack down on thieves abusing abilities.
