Curse of House Thimbrall (orsal judging)

Kamdar stretches a leg, then an arm, and returns them to their natural positions. Opening his eyes, finally, he looks around to get his bearings. Once he has a bit to eat, though, fe feels more refreshed.

Boog paused. "It should be two days back from the castle to Orussus. Unless Xyran has been following us, this will be over before Fredlar can report to him and then get back to us to cause trouble."
Nodding, "Yes, that is what I was thinking as well. I don't see a reason to worry about it."

Ridik listen to his companions, still half asleep.

"I just wanted him to cause no more trouble, and even less have to kill him, but, gladly, it seems that no one is in favor of this last solution. Let him leave once at the castle seems fine if we don't pass through a village before that."

He looks at the sky, and see the horizon starts to turn into a dark blue.

"At least another hour before the sun show up, I'll eat something before praying, it isn't a good thing to pray with an empty stomach."

Jann Hurst Half-Elf Sorceror1

"I agree, if we pass no town we must release him once we reach the castle. It would be inhumane to force him to combat unnatural creatures on hour behalf, no matter his offense."

Hearing what sounded to him like three votes to let Fredlar go once they arrived at the castle, and one to prod him to fight zombies, Boog shrugged. So long as the rogue wasn't able to run back to Xyran on short notice, Boog really didn't care what happened to him. "Whatever you want to do", he said abruptly, as much to Jann as to any of the others.

You know what sucks? When you have most of the update typed in and you hit some random key and erase it all. Anyways...

In the morning, you break camp and prepare for the day. From what you can tell, the catle is less than a day's travel from here. So, you continue to travel north towards the castle.

Meanwhile, Fredlar keeps to himself most of the day, excepting requests for food. His demeanor is subdued. He gives you no trouble as you travel.

Finally, you approach Castle Thimbrall in the late afternoon. The castle is weatherbeaten and ragged. The only evidence remaining of the wooden gate that stood here is a section here or there and holes in the ground where posts stood. You can see four windows; two large one on the ground floor, and one at the top of each of the two towers that you face.

You have a couple of hours until sunset.

"As you wish", came Boog's bored reply. Then, with considerably more interest, he asked, "Do you wish to enter the castle now, or make camp and wait until the morning?"

Levin, PsyWarrior 1

Why don't we go in and take a look around before sunset. That way, we'll at least kill off a few zombies. We are working with a deadline, pardon the pun."

"Why wouldn't we enter now? The faster, the better. It is still only late afternoon."
