How about:
Keth
Boog and Kamdar
Jann and Ao'Thuir
Ridik

I've only had three shifts in the past, but more people volunteered, so. And I'll take one too, so the straight-casters aren't by themselves.
I approve

Watch order looks good with me. Three shift is good and being two by shift is fine too, even prefer the idea, so we can watch over the lazy gauard who would sleep during there watch. ;)

If that watch order is good, then...

You set up camp for the night. On Keth's watch, Fredlar falls asleep. The night is peaceful through First and second watch. On this watch (Jann and ao'Thuir), Fredlar wakes up to find that he has been bound. "Listen, I know that it looked like we were set up to kill you guys, but I was in it only for the money. If you let me go I promise to go away quietly. I just want to live OK?" Fedlar says to Jann. "So please let me go and I promise I won't do anything stupid."

"We do not intend to kill you, unless you force our hand" Jann says kindly. "However, we cannot know for sure that you will not continue to work against us. I regret the necessity, but you must remain our unwilling guest a little longer."

Fredlar responds with a sigh and a nod of his head, then falls asleep shortly thereafter. The rest of the night goes uneventful.

I need spells prepared for those whom this applies. Oh, and what do you do weith Fredlar in the morning?

ao'Thuir finishes up his watch then goes to sleep when Ridik takes over. "Fredlar woke up last night and wanted to be freed. We told him to go to sleep and he did." he informs Ridik just before rolling over.

To ao'Thuir it would have been better just letting him go, but he will leave the decision to Boog and the others in the morning. He didn't relish the idea of having to drag Fredlar through the dungeon if there were no town nearby.

Once his watch was over, Boog spent the entire night in silent meditation, waving away anyone who tried to rouse him. Only when he was completely refreshed did he stir, and nearly missed breakfast in the process.

Over rubbery eggs, he heard ao'Thuir and Ridik talking in whispers about their captive. Rather abruptly, he inserted himself into the conversation.

"I could charm him again, but if he's willing to come along peacefully, I don't see the need", opined Boog. "If we run into a town between here and the castle, we can turn him in there. If not, let him fight a zombie or two, and then we can let him go." Boog paused. "It should be two days back from the castle to Orussus. Unless Xyran has been following us, this will be over before Fredlar can report to him and then get back to us to cause trouble. And", he continued, smiling, "if Fredlar ends up killing more zombies than members of our band, I doubt he'll be too eager to run to Xyran with his hand held out for money."

"I don't mind him being prodded along but I'd just as soon leave him tied to a post outside this caslte than have him around as a liability while we are fighting zombies. He will turn on us." replies ao'Thuir.
