Curse of House Thimbrall (orsal judging)

Provided he is not asleep yet, ao'Thuir would laughingly say, "Maybe we should just let him run back to that wizard, scare him off real good with the way we made short work of the rest of his gang. Maybe he'd leave us alone, or atleast send us something more difficult to face."

"Maybe we should just let him run off. I doubt the wizard will send anything more at us.
"I am not so sure, my friend. One should not underestimate the vindictiveness and tenacity of evil men. We must keep our guard strong. However, if no one has any rope, I think we shall have to let the thief go free, for I will not countenance the slaying of a helpless captive, no matter the benefit to us. We'll just have to be wary of any further attackers sent our way."

Ridik, who has been absorbed by his book, finally close it and come to join the group who is talking. "What are you talking about that look so serious?"

Causally glancing over at Fredlar sitting by the fire, Boog welcomed Ridik into the little conspiracy.

"Hello, Ridik", he said with a nod. "We were trying to figure out what to do with Fredlar over there. I charmed him again, so that should last for about another hour. When he comes to again, he'll probably just try to run off again. Uh, people have suggested tying him up, just letting him go, and running him through, although most of us don't really care for that one. I think there was also some talk of trying to bribe him to not go back to Xyran, although some of you (he said as he looked around the group) may not have heard that one. I've got some rope, since some of us were concerned that we couldn't tie him up because we don't have any. What would you suggest?", he asked as he looked into Ridik's eyes.

Ridik looks at Fedlar a moment before starting to think. "Killing is not the solution, but leaving him may only brought more trouble to us. Is there any village up ahead. We could just bound him and leave him to the authority of the next village, they will have more time to deal properly with him. We have a wagon to carry him, so he won't slow us down."

Keth returns carrying a very large bundle of firewood procured from the woods. He sets it down and begins to build the fire for the night. Noticing the talk amongst the rest of the group, he enquires, "What's all the commotion about then?

"That sounds like a good idea, Ridik. At least, probably the best compromise so far. Keth, we're taking care of Fredlar for now -- he is more of a liability than we originally thought. It is decided then?" Kamdar nods and moves back toward his bedroll, to finish what he started.

Jann nods his head silently and moves nonchalantly to act as bakup in case anything goes wrong. <Boy, I hope this works. Otherwise we have a terrible choice between letting him go, to work against us further, and what I can only see as cold-blooded murder> he thinks, sighing a little.
