Curse of House Thimbrall (orsal judging)

Ridik quickly takes a scroll and an inkpen out of his scrollcase and write down some things.

"I'm taking some notes to be sure we have searched everywhere. Let's be methodic. I suggest to always take the left door first, then proceeding clockwise, like that, we should not miss any room, except maybe hidden ones. That would mean, let's start with west."

Jann grips his spear a little more tightly, anxious to continue. "I do not think it makes much difference which way we go, Ridik" he says kindly, "and Kamdar has already alerted anything in that room of our presence. Let's go ahead and handle that room, so that we don't have enemies at our backs, O.K.?" Then he turns and faces the east door, getting set and ready for whatever may be waiting behind it. <My first combat. O.K., the first time that I know I'm going to fight before I'm actually fighting. This is not how I expected it would be> he thinks, trying to keep his stomach from betraying him. His face, on the other hand, is slightly green-tinged.

"Well, left or right, that doesn't matter at the start." He says putting back the scrool in his case and grabbing his shield. "Just keep it right all the time, that way, we will be sure not to forgot a room."

ao'Thuir follows the others, itching to just start opening doors as they havent found any zombies to crush yet. He is right behind Kamdar on this one and generally tries to be the one who is first to open the door.

OK, since the party is going east, I assumed that you guys would keep the same marching order. If this is not correct, let me know and I can fix it.

You open the door to a room which is 20 feet by 20 feet. There are three normal looking wooden chairs and a table in here. There is a large window on the east wall. On the south wall next to a smaller window is a bookshelf with some books on it.

In the room there are two zombies who move in your direction. They are standing next to one another.

Neither side is surprised.

Thinking that someone might want to push past him into the room, Boog took a step to his left. He grasped the crossbow hanging at his belt, retrieved a bolt from its case, and proceeded to load the weapon. He recalled that the heavy crossbow was stiff and took time to load, but was dismayed to see just how long it took the crank the mighty limbs back.

[sblock]5-foot step to Boog's left, draw weapon (move action), no time left to complete loadeing crossbow (which takes a full round, anyway). Should finish loading sometime in next round.[/sblock]

Levin, 8/16 hp, 1/1 pp

Levin will move to put himself between the zombies and the casters, he'll then attack the zombie, using Psionic weapon if the zombie is undamaged.

[SBLOCK]+2 attack, 1d8+2+2d6 damage[/SBLOCK]

Noticing Boog's actions, Jann follows suit, thinking that he must remember to keep such an ungainly weapon prepared to save time if trouble is expected.
